John Willett – Marketing – Technical Support UK
A passion for music and quality sound led John into the audio industry. He bought his first open-reel tape recorder while a teenager and has been recording ever since. He has been working with Sennheiser since 1985 and prior to that worked for a leading pro-audio dealer in London. At the same time he was also involved in a highly regarded weekend radio program on LBC in London. For many years he has been recording classical music on location (now with a Nagra digital recorder and the best microphones Sennheiser and Neumann can supply) and has recorded several well-received CDs, one for Classic FMs “Full Works” series. He is a well-respected recordist of solo piano. His passion for sound and quality recording have led him down many paths in his quest for high quality recording and the ability to “capture the performance” – hence his love of the MKH range of microphones. His experience is wide ranging – he is a Member of the Audio Engineering Society, on the Executive Committee of the Institute of Broadcast Sound; is Chairman of the British Sound Recording Association and President of the International Federation of Soundhunters. John also lectures on sound and recording, has given papers at AES Conferences and has been a guest lecturer on microphones at several colleges.

Andrew Lillywhite - Chief Engineer UK
Fascinated by Radio, Audio, and Electronics from an early age Andrew received his first soldering iron some time around his 10th birthday. At high school Andrew became fascinated by the technical challenges of the various “performing arts”, much to the frustration of his teachers who for some reason seemed to think that his attention should be focused on more formal educational matters. Since he left school in 1979 Andrew has worked continuously in various areas of the professional audio industry including theatre, television, corporate events and live music. Over the years success in using radio microphones, sometimes against the advice of his peers, somehow gave people the impression that Andrew “must know something” about the “black art of RF” and radio microphones gradually became his specialist subject. In 2002 he finally got a “proper job” when he joined Sennheiser UK Ltd. where, although involved in many product areas, wireless products continue to be his speciality.

Linda Irvin - Product Manager UK
A passion for music and the chance to work for a premium, luxury quality brand, led Linda to apply for a job in Customer Services at a small, new and local distribution company, Sennheiser (UK) in 1992. Joining a team of just 12 - Sennheiser was a little-known brand with a strong and loyal customer base in over 650 independent stores. Times have changed and Sennheiser has grown enormously to recently take the top slot as the UK no. 1 headphone brand in value terms. 16 years on and her professional life has encompassed a variety of sales and marketing roles, - currently as a Product Manager, as the Company’s headphone specialist - requiring high levels of communication, collaboration and commercialism. Linda’s eye for detail, pride and passion for the product - and the family-owned company that strives for true perfection at its core - remain undiminished.

Edwin Leong - Consumer Product Manager (Sennheiser Electronics Asia Pte Ltd)
A self-professed techie, Edwin’s fascination with gadgets led him to join the consumer electronics industry. He cut his teeth with a certain 4-lettered Japanese company, managing various audio categories such as Mini-compos, Transistor Radios, CD players, DVD players, and MP3 players, for the Asia Pacific region. Eventually, Edwin became a Soundaholic. Thankfully, after joining Sennheiser Electronics Asia Pte Ltd in 2007, he has had no problems getting his ‘sound fix’.
